Grade 1A ArtWe have began the independent writing process in Gr.1B. The following are some samples of Fables that the children have written. We all started with an outline of our big ideas. Then the children did a rough draft. We learned what it means to edit our work and look for mistakes. The children’s final copies are posted on the walls of the Grade 1 hallway.We in 1B have been working on a colour unit in Art. We have learned the colours of the rainbow, primary colours and secondary colours. The children enjoyed mixing the paint on their own to create the secondary colours. These pictures were assignments practicing turning primary colours into secondary colours.
